Volunteering at Music City is worthwhile
Be part of a something bigger than you could have imagined. With 154 members it takes a village to create a life changing experience each and every summer. Music City could not deliver on its mission if not for our dedicated and passionate volunteers. Come be a part of the Music City family!
Cook Crew
Keeping the drum corps fed is the largest volunteer undertaking. Serving 200 individuals 3 to 4 times a day out of our 54’ mobile kitchen trailer takes a passionate team.
Drivers
Travelings thousands of miles with our large fleet including smaller support vehicles, we are always in need of dedicated drivers. 25 year old minimum age, fully insurable and ability to drive at night.
Sewing Crew
Putting our production on the field starts with the look. We are always looking for talented volunteers to assist with initial fittings including basic hemming work and a costume specialist to travel with the group. Basic sewing and arts and crafts.
Merchandise
While on tour we sell our custom merchandise at shows and other events. This team travels alongside the drum corps and is responsible for setting up and selling at a variety of shows. This is a great place to interact with fans and represent the Music City brand all around the country.
Medical Team
With a focus on our members health and safety we are always looking for volunteers with medical experience to support our full time team. Athletic trainers, RN, MD, EMT all are welcome.
Tour Team
Being on tour is basically like running away with the circus. From the fleet to the on field production we are always fixing, taping, painting and taping some more. Volunteering with the tour team is a great way to see the full range of what it takes to move a world class drum corps down the road.
