Jason Parent appointed Operations Director

Effective May 1, 2024, Jason Parent will join Music City Youth in the Arts as Operations Director.  Jason has been involved with the marching arts in one way or another for over 3 decades. He has been a program coordinator, instructional / support staff, bus / truck driver, volunteer and a marching member for several different organizations.  Jason is currently a contest administrator for WGI and an active event volunteer for DCI.

Professionally, Jason's career spans the transportation industry as a safety manager, trainer, driver, and most recently as the operations manager for a school bus management company.

Mike Webb, Music City Youth in the Arts, Inc. Executive Director shared "we are truly excited to have someone of Jason's background and passion for the marching arts join Music City in this critical role".

Jason shared, “I could not be more honored to join the incredible team at Music City.  I've felt a calling to this organization and excited to continue to build on the hard work by everyone involved. When I look at this group, there is nothing but possibility and potential which is why I look forward to doing my part in continuing to positively transform young people’s lives. Let’s Be Bold together!”

Jason is married with two adult children and in his spare time, he and his wife are avid motorcyclists. Other hobbies include boating and flying.
